copy object dxl

I have a script that copys objects from one module to another. Using a modified version of the default copy Objects DXL it works fine if the user has Admin privileges. If they don't then it will fault with an error saying "No permission to write to the current object in target module"
Is there a way to elevate access to Admin and then back down inside the DXL script? thanks

There is no safe way to do this on the client side. You could launch a batch DXL script with an admin user but you would have to put the password into the script, where it is not safe. So that is not a way to go.

I wonder why you would not grant a user the DOORS rights to create objects in a module but allow him to copy objects from another module in there (using an admin script). My guess is that either your access rights are not setup optimal or the copy object script does not work (i.e. not being able to handle attributes where the user is not allowed to write, etc).
